If that's not an option or you don't have time to find a moving company, check out these simple tricks to make packaging easier.

1. Slide the clothes from the hangers directly into the trash bags will not only make packing very easy, but also unpack your clothes.

2. Instead of bubble plastic, protect your fragile dishes and items with clothing and bedding. This not only eliminates the cost of bubble plastic but also packs your clothes.

3. While dismantling furniture, store all screws and hardware in a plastic bag. Nothing worse than when you get to your new apartment and can't find a screw while you're putting your furniture together.

4. Write the contents of each box on the box or in an inventory list. If you feel tech-expert, create an Excel document that crawls the contents of each box. Simply find the item you need in the document and you will know which box to open.

5. If you use plastic wrapping, you can leave your items in the container or storage container they are in. For example, simply wrap the utensil organizer with plastic wrap instead of letting the forks and knives loosen in a box.
